First time ever going in with a friend of mine yesterday morning, and I absolutely loved the vibe here! Alternative, unique, and niche. We were there sometime after 9am to get some hot beverages (I was pleasantly surprised to hear they open so early). I ordered the hot chocolate, which was seriously one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've had in ages, which I know probably sounds a bit dramatic lol. But truly, it's rare to find a good spot for hot chocolate in most places and here at DiveHU5, you could actually *taste* the chocolate it was made with! And it wasn't overly sweet or bitter. It also wasn't a blistering hot chocolate either, so extra points for that. It was hot enough to be hot, but I didn't need to let it sit for 10 minutes to get it to cool down enough for it to be had. It was seriously a perfect hot chocolate, in my personal opinion. I also didn't need anything adding to it or changing; though once I was told I could have added other flavours to it I was immediately keen to come back (the flavours of "cinnamon roll" and "honey & pistachio" really got my attention there). It was honestly so lovely getting to experience this spot in the mellow environment of the early morning for hot bevs with my friend. I could easily have spent the whole morning there just staying warm out of the rain and enjoying the vibe lol. I'm sure this place is very popular at night when its bar is open, too! The cocktails menu they had there had some pretty unique drinks named after musicians/their songs, one of which that stuck out to me was "Purple Rain". Great spot! Would love to come back and support local again & again. Cheers xx

Popped into DiveHu5 on rainy Sunday afternoon before the drive home to Manchester for a quick coffee and pizza slice and a bag of their Higher Ground coffee. Didn't disappoint and looking forward to going back on 9th October for their first ever comedy gig and some more pizza. The pizza was Marinara, so no cheese but there's plenty of choice of flavours.

Visited here for the first time yesterday to grab a coffee while walking round Pearson Park. The coffee was great and they offered oat milk and syrups, the guy serving was also really friendly and pleasant to speak to.

On walking in, this isnt your normal looking bar. It has a really different feel which is great. The staff and the regulars were so friendly and the beer is cheap and good. We went in on a Saturday afternoon and spent most of the evening in there. Top place and well worth a visit when you are in the area!
